Gram flour, also known as chickpea flour, ground chickpeas, garbanzo flour or besan, is a pulse flour made from grinding the seeds of the chickpea variety legume. Widely used in Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi cuisines, gram flour is an ingredient in many dishes that require thickening or binding agents.
